Private Events at The Bear

The River Hill Room, our boutique private area, is nestled towards the rear of our pub, overlooking our beautiful garden. It lends itself perfectly to all manner of occasions, with a private outside space attached so guests can spill out into the sunshine.

The room can be hired free of charge and has a maximum capacity of 20 for seated dining, with a capacity of up to 30 for more social events. Need a bigger space? Our French-doors open up to either the garden, or our upper bar area to gather more of your friends, family or colleagues for that special occasion.

The room is perfect for a selection of events, such as meetings, small wedding receptions and any kind of life celebration.
